HISTORY

Broomford Holdings Limited was formed via a restructuring of the Kierbeck Holdings Limited group of companies. The latter had very successfully developed and managed for several years various commercial/residential properties in the London and Essex area. The company commenced with the purchase in 1986 of a sub £100K industrial unit in Harlow and culminated with the sale of a developed investment in the London Docklands for a substantial eight figure sum.

During its formative years the company would purchase run-down industrial estates, some still showing signs of Second World War damage, with pigeons flying in and out of broken windows. The buildings would be adapted, letting space expanded and appropriate office space created. Tired brick and block work would be replaced with modem cladding and landscaping would enhance the overall picture. Full-time security guards were then employed to protect the completed estates. The units averaged 8000 square feet and commanded very attractive yields.
